Overview

Golden Designs Inc. (GDI) allows product returns under specific conditions to ensure every customer receives their order in perfect condition. This policy applies only to GDI products sold by Your Backyard Oasis.

Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The product is unused, unassembled, and in its original packaging.
  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) has been issued before returning the item.
  • The return shipment is received in the same condition as originally delivered.

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be denied or subject to additional fees.

Return Process

To begin a return, please contact Your Backyard Oasis to request an RMA number. We will provide detailed instructions for preparing and shipping your item back to Golden Designs Inc.

All return shipments must be arranged through GDI’s freight carrier network. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any applicable restocking fees.

Fees and Deductions

The following fees apply to all approved returns:

  • Restocking Fee: 20% of the product price.
  • Return Freight: 120% of the original outbound shipping rate.
  • Outbound Freight: Original delivery costs are non-refundable.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Products that have been assembled, installed, or used.
  • Items not returned in original packaging.
  • Products shipped back without a valid RMA.

Refunds

Once the returned product is received and inspected at the GDI warehouse, refunds are processed within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus applicable restocking and shipping fees.

Damaged or Defective Products

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Note the damage on the delivery receipt.
  • Take clear photos of all affected boxes and areas.
  • Contact Your Backyard Oasis within 48 hours.

GDI will review the claim and may issue replacement parts or an exchange at no additional cost.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours at no charge. After 24 hours, orders may already be in processing or transit and will be treated as a return under the conditions listed above.
